Whenever we go on a camper trip to the Kootenays, we stop for a few days at Sugar Lake, about 25km north of Cherryville. It has a well maintained campground with easy beach access, and once you are out on the lake you have a magnificent view of the Monashee Mountains. Anne took this picture from her kayak.
